The Dance

When the dust settles and the chutes go quiet, the party moves next door. Two nights of music at the covered hockey arena, right beside the stampede grounds. Doors at 9:00 PM, age 19 and up. Tickets available at the door until sold out. Pre-sale holders get guaranteed entry until 10:00 PM with valid ID.

Look for signage. Cash only at each lot.

First come, first serve. Arrive as early as Thursday night for the private fields. Comes fast, fills faster.

Food & Drink

A variety of food and beverage vendors on the grounds will keep you fed and watered through the day. Beverage gardens are open daily for guests aged nineteen and over.

04 · Money & Weather

Cash & Weather

ATMs are on the stampede grounds. Most vendors accept debit and credit, but bring cash for parking, camping, and breakfast. Dress for a typical May long weekend in the BC Interior: sunscreen and a hat, plus a rain jacket and rubber boots if you're being smart about it.

05 · Pets

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome on the rodeo grounds but not in the grandstands. Must be on a leash. Owners pick up and dispose of waste immediately. Please be considerate of guests who aren't fond of pets.

06 · Getting Here

Getting Here

Falkland sits on Highway 97 between Vernon and Kamloops in the BC Interior. The stampede grounds are the heart of the village; you can't miss them. Highway 97 closes for the parade Sunday at 12:30 PM, plan accordingly if you're rolling in late Sunday morning.
